The BEST workout and diet plan is the plan that you actually follow through with.
There are many available options, with each claiming that this is the plan you need. Even the best coaching/training plan and/or diet plan based on your dietary needs means NOTHING if you don’t actually follow through with it.
The plan that is right for you will make you:
- Happy – you will enjoy what you are doing
- Healthy – your body will not slow you down from the things you want to do and you have a clean bill of health from your physician
- Feel great and are comfortable with your body – giving you confidence
There are many different ways to find the above three goals, but that’s what makes us each individual.
Determine your primary goals, from your workout plan, that address what is most important to you. Do you want to:
- Run faster
- Lose weight and get stronger
- To look good
Each of these goals requires a different workout plan and it is hard to combine them, because they will contradict each other and often lead to frustration because you are having trouble reaching any of the goals.
Take time to research different plans and find one that you feel comfortable with and will help you achieve your established goals.
Ask yourself if you are feeling better, looking better and happy. If the answer is yes keep going. If the answer is no, identify why the plan is not working (not actually following the plan, trying to accomplish too many goals at once) make a change. Follow this plan for 6-8 weeks and see if the changes bring forward progress.
Whatever workout plan you chose, if you are happy and healthy, keep doing what you are doing.
